This topic is about double standards. If it was someone's daughter, it would be different even if she was willing.

Yep...even if the girl wanted it or pursued it. They can't legally give consent....therefore rape for both genders. I would be furious if that happened to my son! There is a double standard

lucky for the boys, huh... personally, it's not a big deal to me, the worst that can happen to boys is maybe a STD, not as big of a deal as a 16 year old girl getting pregnant...

But let's extend it....even if legal in other countries, an older man would be called a pedophile for going after a 15 yr old girl by people from other countries

They are charged with statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, corruption of minors and indecent assault.

Those charges are quite serious.
Is Bail is set to how much they pose a threat to the public?

I don't get how they come up with those amounts... bail system seems a little off

There is usually a bail schedule with recommended amounts for each charge but a judge can pretty much do what he wants....raise it, lower it, etc.....
I'm with you. The amount seems low considering the charges and assuming they are all felonies.
