we get what we incite
Rioters are responsible for their own misbehavior.
I have no doubt it would have been the same outcome for a Clinton win, except the chants would have accompanied 'drain the swamp' or perhaps people carrying around images of Clinton being hanged
You think that there would have been rioting if Hillary had won?
By the way, Trump did have a clean win.
The Electoral College was set up so that a minority of states would not run roughshod over a majority of states whenever the states choose a POTUS.
That's because the President of the United States is just that - the President of the United
States.
So, the states elect the POTUS.
Trump was chosen by 30 states.
The U.S. Constitution says that the legislature of each state decides how that state's electors are chosen. The U.S. Constitution doesn't require any state-wide vote.
I will rephrase, Trump was not cleanly elected by the PEOPLE, it was a very close call
The Constitution does give the power to the electors,, which technically means they dont have to listen to the people at all
in terms of how the citizens/voters themselves felt,, it wasnt such a clean win for either side
and I agree , rioters are responsible for rioters, so why even mention political affiliations?
