Assuming this report is accurate, the lesson that everyone SHOULD take from it (since EVERY news organization has had this kind of thing happen), isn't that "we should trust all reports from people we already like, and discard all those from people who we already dislike."

The lesson is "just because you saw it online, doesn't mean it's true, or was reported accurately."

Especially if the person doing the reporting, refuses to use accurate, unbiased terminology to make their "reports."
