At the very least they monitor and sometimes attempt to persuade. Is that not a form of policing?

I think our American democracy, is not forced. Of course we could say,would you prefer the Chinese system which is straight up, down your throat or you will be killed? And will take a kidney to boot.

The way it looks right now, the world is going away from democracy trying to go to a form of leftist socialism. Which is what was defeated in a recent American election and in the British Brexit.

We don't force countries to be Democratic but when you look at the countries around the world who don't have a democratic system. One thing they do have, is serious abuses in human rights.

Our democratic system is way cooler than anything else around. We even brought in the Chinese and the Russian into our capitalist systems and they took off with it and have made their own capitalism system in their own political way.

Show me a Socialist leftist Communist system that does that for any democracy.... I doubt you'll find any!
