CEO Matt Harrigan Threatens Donald Trump Assassination: What Happens To Him Now?

His sensational Facebook statuses include direct threats to Donald Trump’s life, which is a violation of United States Code Title 18, Section 871, according to which, anyone threatening to harm the current POTUS or even the President-Elect can be heavily fined or spend up to 5 years in federal prison.

Other than that, California Penal Code 422 states that “making electronic, verbal or written threats to someone’s safety is considered a crime,” reports North Bay Legal Defense.

The person committing such a crime may be charged with misdemeanor or felony, eligible to face from a year to three years of jail time.

As it turns out Matt Harrigan may be eligible to be charged with both.

“I’m going to kill the president. Elect,” he wrote. This only confirms that he was threatening the President-Elect, and not just Trump as an individual. No only that, he further elaborated how he is going to execute his plans.

“Nope, getting a sniper rifle and perching myself where it counts. Find a bedroom in the whitehouse that that suits you mother*****r. I’ll find you,” he wrote, according to a report from Ars Technica.

Matt Harrigan, the CEO of PacketSled, threatened to kill Trump with a sniper rifle in a series of deranged Facebook comments captured on Reddit.
