Call it what you want, but the guy saved jobs.. and he's not even President yet.

?.. They got $7M in tax breaks and 1,000 jobs stay here.... so whats the downside?

They also were afraid of losing federal contracts which currently are a $7 Billion dollar revenue to them.

They claimed they would have saved $65 Million by moving the jobs to Mexico... but could have lost $7 Billion in Federal contracts in doing so.

I think Trump may have pointed that out to them... made them think again.... Obama doesn't appear to be smart enough.. or care enough to do that.

Regardless, 1,000 jobs are staying here... and that is what it is all about.

It's puzzling to me that if Trump hadn't stepped in, they would have left, no question about that.

we can't all be Carrier service people and that's what we're become, consumerism is killing us, the more we consume, the more our funds are evaporating out of the country, simple.

If it was so easy for Trump to do it why didn't Obama do it? We didn't PAY 7 mil to Carrier, they were given tax incentives. Speaking of Fake News,do you have a source for your distorted assertions?

yep,the Unions,who are so uninvolved in the Circumstances why so many Corporations bug out the US at Lightspeed!
They,and their Politician Cronies just about killed the Car-manufacturing Industry in the US!With active help from the Left-MSM!
Trump might not have used the best way to persuade Carrier to stay,but Obama would just have let them walk,and wished them Godspeed besides!

The fact is those 1,000 jobs trickle down and support 5,000 other jobs. from the local diner to the car dealerships.

The tax incentives received have no effect on the general public and in fact ARE good business.

And I do know this for a fact, as I am opening a new factory in the states.. for the first time..relocating it from Asia, to bring jobs back here. And without tax incentives and discounts from the utility companies it would be impossivle to get up and going.

It is mentality like Trumps that WILL attract new business and WILL get existing businesses back to the U.S.. Which is a skill that the current administration does not seem to have.

Obama did nothing to even try to get Carrier to reconsider... and that is not leadership.
