Across the internet and the media, there seems to be great divide.
Not speaking about the usual divisiveness found regarding race or politics, but a divide in attitude.
There seems to be such extremist attitude towards offensiveness. There seems to be a growing number with the extreme attitudes of either not finding offense in ANYTHING, or finding offense in EVERYTHING.
The status quo' that's how its always been' , quiets efforts towards change
and the equally cliche 'everyone is equal(taken literally)' encourages the stigmatizing of the simplest of adjectives that collectively combine to create the unique individual we all are
How can we promote a balance? How can we teach/learn that the things that make us human make us the same, but all the things that make us different make us individuals,,, and that neither is more important than the either?
or should we even try?
