How bad is it really' when you forget someone's birthday..?.

When you forget someone's birthday..
Do you think, they think you just don't care.?
I'm always forgetting important dates on the calendar, I think most men do! women are much better keeping track of important dates on the calendar..

Maybe because they're always looking at their calendar . In most households women do all the scheduling..
. Personally I very rarely look at a calendar . I couldn't tell you what the date is today even, I know it's Monday..
But apart from that I don't give it much thought...
So I'm always forgetting anniversary dates birthdays things of this nature..
I always feel horrible if I forget, I think the person thinks I don't care enough to even remember their birthday..

But. Oh contraire.. that is not the case LOL.. I just never look at my calendar...
I have people's birthdays circled on it..
But once again I very rarely look at my calendar...
I don't commit people's birthdays to memory... and again this is where women Excel.. they tend to remember everything..lol.. well!!!almost everything..lol....

So how bad should you be made to really feel.. when you forget someone's birthday....?
Is it a sin to end all sins?..lol..
Or is it forgivable..?

If you have a habit of forgetting your spouse's birthday, then buy yourself a very comfortable couch, because that is what you will be sleeping on.

My sister ALWAYS calls me on my birthday and I ALWAYS call her early in the day. We are close and live in different times zones. I have several brothers. They couldn't care less about me.

women are champs at remembering birthdays, guys are chumps at it.. including me.

Its embarrassing at times and you say to yourself that it won't happen again.. but it does.. many times.

We just suck at it.

Get a calendar. Write things down. There are things called paper and a pen.

I don't have a great memory. I write things down.

..lpl.yes but that would mean first off we would have to actually do that..lol.. and then secondly we would actually have to look at the calendar every month or week to keep ourselves up to date...
Ummmm... we are guys.!!. probably not going to happen...lol

your ight.. that is the best thing to do.. But men never have.. never will.

We just don't do that.

What if a guy can't remember to write things down?

It's hopeless, in my case. By now, I've just had to conclude and admit that I just don't WANT to remember dates, and perform "tricks" to "prove I care."

I'd like to blame it on some male pattern, but since I've seen guys who are aces at it (usually I see them from behind, as they are carrying my ex girlfriend off to bliss), I can't make that work.

Just another defect in my personality that hopefully SOME woman SOME where will eventually like me in spite of.

I just program dates and other things to the calendar on my phone and then I'm done.... it sends me a message to remind me.... cause I don't look at my calendar either.....lol

...umm mmm.wow!! You have a calendar on your phone?????. that sounds a little too complicated to me..lol

My sister is the only important person in my life. i don't have to write down her birthday.

..well..If you only have one then you better not forget their birthday lol.. I have at least 12 people's birthdays to remember..
Hmmmm... makes me wish they had something I could write all these birthdays..down on.... you know! a way to remind me..lol

I would just think for once some one is actually honoring my birthday wishes every year.

I do remember birthdays of ppl I love, esp my man's and my kids'. But often I don't know what date it is, so yeah... I could still forget.
I use my telephone too so I won't forget things...
Calendars don't work for me either. I'd need a note to remind me to look at the danged thing.

If I forget a birthday, I send a note or message right away when I remember. Apologize, and if they forgive me...Cool.
If not, then they apparently weren't a friend to begin with or anything.

Depends on the relationship.
If you forget your moms birthday you should feel "worse" than if you forgot that one guy's, down in accounting, with the red or brownish hair I think?

IMO it's the consistency that matters the most.

If you consistently remember their birthday and then forget to one year, then something's "wrong."

If you consistently forget their birthday, that's the status quo, and if you forget to forget and remember, then something's "great."

This is me... if I didn't program my phone I wouldn't remember any dates sorry guys some women forget also
