Honestly, I actually mean it!

I may dislike his policies but I respect the man and the office and traditions he has held for the past 8 years.

I was his fiercest critic on here, using some choice words even at times, but I was also the first to respond when anyone wished harm on Obama or his family.

Believe it or not, and I will NEVER repeat this again MS. Harmony so get the camera out but I do like Obama, the man not the office holder.

I hope he has a long successful retirement with his beautiful wife and his two beautiful daughters.

Good luck Mr. President! You've served your time, now enjoy life!

Also, can we please get Prayers for former President George H. W. Bush, who is not doing good at all. They moved him into Intensive care then rushed him into surgery because his airway was closed.

I hope he pulls through this!

Lpdon, I agree with what you say about President Obama.

No need to wish ill on the guy or any elected official like many on here have done. So what, you disagree and you handle it at the ballot box and not with violence or threats.

I've been watching the inaugural ceremonies most of the day. I'm surprised that nobody said anything.

and some arent watching at all , and just not interested in thinking/talking about it today

This inauguration has been going on since 8 am. (my time). Nobody has anything to say? I'm not that involved with politics, but I watch the important things. I listened to Trumps speech. Watched the ceremony. Listened to Obama. Saw Obama and First Lady leave the White House. I watched the parade for President Trump.

Actually he turned grey in less then six months. President's tend to age really bad!

its all a matter of perspective of whats 'important'.

to me , you seen one, you seen them all. The presence of some entertainers or public figures douting over the newly elected. And a speech reciting popular talking points and promises of the previous years campaign.

The important day was his election, and his actual decisions will mark more important stuff to me. This 'ceremony' is a neat tradition,,,but in the grand scheme,, just another show.
