Well, I'm almost out of Irish Cream Liquor that I use in my coffee.
Going to have to make a pitstop at the local liquor store today.

It's a tossup between Brandon's Irish Cream or Caroyln's. Bailey's is just too expensive for my needs.

Whenever I make this trip I try to pick up a bottle of something for bar stock. I usually buy a 5th of baseline alcohol because I stock a wide range of mixers. Not one to buy flavored vodka or stuff like that.

Here is a list of what I have.
Suggest something I should stock that most women like.

Vodka ~ Absolute and generic
Tequila ~ Jose Cuervo and generic
Mescal ~ with the agave worm
Gin ~ generic
Rum ~ generic
Capt Morgan Spiced Rum 100
Southern Comfort
Jim Beam
Jack Daniels
Seagrams 7
Canadian Mist
Hennessy Cognac
Moonshine
Disaronno
Crown Royal
Makers Mark
Jager
Jameson's
Fireball

I have no beer in stock nor do I have wine. I only like beer once in awhile. I'm happy with an occasional spiced rum & coke or a glass of Hennessy. The reason I don't stock wine is because I am not sure what wine I should buy? I would like to have some wine for quiet evenings with someone special but I have no idea what to buy? Arbor Mist Sucks! The first wine I ever tasted was Boonesfarm Strawberry Hill but I'm not going to present that to a woman as a romantic gesture.
I need to limit my purchases to around $40.
My Irish cream is another $20 so $60 max.

Any suggestions?

Ladies, what do you like to drink?

Guys, What wine do you buy when 'ooh-la-la' is in the forecast?

I have a bunch of daiquiri and margarita mixes. Plenty of ice and a pretty good, glass jar blender.

Kraken Black Spiced rum (with cola or Dr Pepper)
Southern Comfort (with cola)
Baileys
Radler beer (0% if I have to drive, otherwise 2%. More than enough for me, I'm a lightweight)

Oh, and Irish coffee is nice, provided I get half the normal amount of whiskey in it, otherwise I may slide of me chair and end up underneath the table.

Thanx, Great suggestions.

I agree with the driving thing. I won't drive with alcohol in me either. I'm not suggesting getting her drunk tho. I'm thinking 1 or 2 drinks over the course of the evening consumed slowly with food.

If she decides to spend the night I want it to be her deciding not the alcohol. If she does then I can certainly get her drunk if that is what she wants but that is a warning sign for me.

I have never tasted Kraken? Dr Pepper is great with Spiced Rum. Have you ever tried Spiced Rum with root beer or sarsaparilla? AWESOME!

SoCo & Coke is a common drink and easily made.

Baileys is expensive here. I like Baileys straight with ice.

I am not too fond of the taste of beer unless it is ice cold on a hot day or stout, warmed in a mug on a cold day. Not one to drink the popular brands either. We have beer stores here that offer hundreds of beers from around the world. I like tasting them but not for getting drunk.

If she can't "make do" with a single malt (or a very good blended), a very dry gin martini, or a domestic lager, I don't want to date her.

LOL, well We do need to set our standards.

I don't care what she wants to drink as long as she is comfortable.

Most any of those liquors will be appealing to the ladies, in some variation.

But of course if your name happens to be Bill Cosby.. well then you have to list the " automatic additive"

My drinking days a long gone, but I used to really enjoy my beer. Back in the '80's it was gin and tonic with lime.

For the morning coffee.. I've started to make my own 'creamo'.. I do like the Carolyn's though.. I make a mixture of Sweetened Condensed Milk, Milk, Vanilla, Brandy, Kahlua...portions are as per taste... shake, shake, shake and pour into your coffee..
As for an evening appertif.. depends upon the weather.. summertime, a nice cold beer, maybe a Sangria.. wintertime, I like Southern Comfort (on ice), maybe a Malibu, again on ice; For me, a dry Red wine is good any old time.
Good luck with the ladies..

Back in the day
I'd go with the half gallon of Porchclimber.

With a twist.

Humm I keep my liquor stocked but what I prefer.... for those times I want a drink...

But as far as what to keep stocked for those times I would suggest leave it till that time happens, then hopefully by then you will know what they like to drink if they even drink at home....

Offer other drinks that are tasty.

I collect flavorings.
So far the fav for those I have served are Lemon Slushies during summer.
Hot caramel coco in the winter.

Since I don't really drink much myself, a woman that wants no alcohol would be a plus.

Is it safe to say athat a nice Red Blend wine would be best to have in stock? The guy at the liquor store suggested it but I thoght he was just trying to sell me an extra bottle of anything to get the sale?

True.

I like to host dinner parties and Bar-b-ques. I started keeping a stocked bar as a result. I usually put out appetizers too. I found that keeping a stock of the bare alcohols allows me to serve just about anything my guests want to drink. But my guest lists are couples. I noticed that the women in the couples usually just shrug when given the choices I have available. The men will drink about anything I give them.

I'm trying to figure out what makes a woman say "Hell-Yeah" instead of "Well, if that's all ya got" when I offer them a drink.
