Tom4,
That is an awesome collection of movies! If you were to co-host on TCM what movie would you pick to show and why? Thanks.
Well, I have hosted movie weekend parties and did movie selections for my children when they had friends sleep-over.
I chose movies based on the people and the event.
TCM (Turner CLASSIC Movies) is a national cable network that is viewed by a large audience with many different tastes in entertainment. Being a Classic movie channel, I would have to limit my choices to something classic (20 or more years).
Cleopatra (1963) with Elisabeth Taylor and Richard Burton would be a good choice. Loved the movie!
I might also list some others...
The Thing From Another World (1951) with James Arness and Kenneth Tobey is one of my favorites. I like Science Fiction and Monsters.
Gojira (1954) the original Godzilla movie. Not the one with Raymond Burr. Hands down it is my favorite classic giant monster film.
Second up would be
The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms (1953), another Kenneth Tobey Film.
Animal House (1978),
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (1947),
The Pink Panther (1963) or
No Time For Sergeants (1958) for some comedy choices.
Many others are also on my list:
