no more refusal for actually NEEDING insurance...period
people signing up for (and paying for) insurance because they could finally AFFORD IT
why should people only have insurance based upon if they have a paycheck or not,, should housewives and students and retire go without?
In many regions and some entire states. It boiled down to ONE health care provider.. one.. this after the other companies pulled out.
So, countless people received a letter in the mail stating on a certain date they would have NO health coverage. Forcing them to use the one remaining provider.
That provider charge much more for much less coverage.. fact
Deductibles skyrocketed, prescription meds and office visits deductibles too. And everyone knows that those are the most used parts of healthcare.
So now people ( well documented) were paying deductibles of $5,000, $7,500, $10,000..and more( family) before the insurance ACTUALLY even kicked in.
throw that on top of your now inflated monthly cost for Obama healthcare and what do you have.. and that is a good deal?
What does "affordable " healthcare really mean when you can't even pay the deductible.
It was a total failure.
the socialist liberals can't understand that... It goes beyond the blinders of the fact that obarry can do no wrong...
