people rarely simpy tell it 'like it is' in debates,
you have to check that their record matches what they say, that they have some history with it,, otherwise they say what their base wants to hear
like Trump saying Hillary would be a great president before he ran and that she would be in jail after he ran
The man admitted on Fallon that talking **** is just something he does...
or Ryan speaking of all the ways Trump would be a disaster when they ran against each other but then finding the ways he wouldn't be after
campaigns are money and marketing,, not that they dont also include truth, some questions are direct enough that the only answer is the facts or a lie, but they all have to appease the instant gratification of the public in order to get into office and what they REALLY want to accomplish
only way to know that with some certainty is checking their actual record of ACTION,,,
