if you are not visiting mosques, how do you know what they may or may not be 'denouncing'?
well, it would appear in the Brooklyn Mosque.. it would be terrorism they were planning.. wouldn't it... certainly not denouncing it.. just the opposite.right.
And if I am not mistaken.. the leader of the Mosque was in fact part of the team that planned the attack... isn't that.. a fact.
But why don't you tell me what is being said inside Mosques?, enlighten me.
one mosque condemns them all? seriously?
I dont know what is being said in the mosques so I dont ASSUME that it is not denouncing terrorism
people who are atheists hopefully dont ASSUME that churches dont denounce sins just because they witness self proclaimed christians sinning,,,,,
1 Mosque MS.. are you Serious?...there are countless cases where Mosques have been used as the main meeting place for terrorists. Where attacked were planned out.
And terrorist have used Mosques when fighting AS THEIR HOME BASE, knowing that those fighting them would not go in there or fire upon it...while they fired at the troops.. from that same " house of worship... fact.
Do your homework.
I have done. Muslims are individuals first. to continue to make the terrorist discussion into a slam against Islam and lump all who follow in the same boat is a mistake that can easily become a dangerous trend if not addressed. Terrible acts have happened one opinion at a time when those opinions have resulted in individuals of the same mind ACTING upon them.
I liken it to having a man bashing opinion, which is safe since men are not in a minority. Yet imagine if people went around speaking and promoting fear of all men just because they seem more 'prone' with their testosterone to be more violent, commit more rapes, and commit a domestic abuse?
Imagine if all the households of the world who suffered under abusive fathers or husbands were suddenly branded as the SAME as that abusive person? That would be ridiculous.
As much of a mistake as it would be to invoke fear of men with testosterone in others, while disregarding the overwhelming majority of men with testosterone that do not have reason to be feared,
It is a terrible mistake to allow more and more people to develop a fear of Muslims, due to those with extremist views, while disregarding the overwhelming majority of Muslims without it.
Muslims have been killing Muslims for centuries. They kill because of their extreme views and the belief that others will try to dominate or eradicate them,,, sound familiar?
Sunnis kill Shiites and any group of people who don't cow tow to their extreme versions of the truth. Extremists kill nonextremists. It has only become an issue because westerners have only started knowing about the deaths of 'their own'.
Muslims are human and individual first. I will always speak up when they are painted otherwise as some group mentality that are all of the same mind and intentions.
Those who do not value human life are more prone to killing those who do.
Those who do are less prone to be likely to fight back, that is the way of MANKIND, not exclusive to Islam.
