statistically mass murders in america are fractional... very very low especially considering how many gun owners exist in america...typical liberal bs blaming the gun for the shooting...and this guy wanted to kill as many white people as possible yet only got four total...an avid gun enthusiast could've done that with a bb gun...the good ole msm at work again let's blame guns for shootings and make sure racial issues remain a problem for everyone...

the restrictiveness of their laws and how they rank on gun deaths compared to other states are all over the chart,,,there is no clear correlation that lax gun laws reduce gun death,,

not that this thread was making any argument about gun laws

Strict gun laws sure as hell don't reduce death. Chicago has the strictest in the country and they also have the highest homicide rate by a gun too and guess what 95% of those are by people who can not legally own a gun.

I didn't even know what the battlbox forum was...thanks that's definitely my type of site...as far as gun restrictions etc. there is a staggering correlation between mass shootings and gun free zones...gee wonder why

shooters are not choosing sites because of gun laws,,, they choose political or personal targets and many times with an expectation of dying,,,,

and in this case, which happened in DOWNTOWN fresno,, I doubt the shooter researched gun laws either

Shootings do happen with or without strict gun laws. There are crazies all over the world. But law abiding gun owners know that guns are for hunting and protection. If good people can't arm themselves, they are sitting ducks. Those that mean harm or crimes, usually don't get the guns legally or they can be traced to them. Criminals will always get guns anywhere. Look at making drugs illegal, has that stopped drug use?

In places, like Texas, those that mean harm or crime are taking bigger risks because they don't know who is packing either

So people are now dead because of his experiences?. Or exposure. Who gives a s**t about understanding why he did this. other then it was a pure hate crime.

He hated white people.. so he attacked them. Are we to understand and accept some off the wall explanation for this?.. as if something would validate this?

wow really?? u don't think a criminal who wants to kill people isn't aware of gun free zones?! most of these people are cowards to begin with so wouldn't it make sense that they would shoot up a place where they know no one is shooting back??? gun owner doesn't equal mass murderer....I own A LOT of guns and have never once so much as pointed one at another human being... talk s%*t on guns all you want but you better hope you're never in a situation where you need one and don't have it...pencils don't misspell words, cars don't cause accidents and a trigger isn't pulled by the gun

no, I dont believe people unstable enough to commit mass shootings have researched the gun laws first,,,

noone has argued that gun owner equals mass murderer and noone has talked anything about guns

there is a lot of projection happening in this thread

from a simple statement that violent people do violent things

even though many tangents have tried to lay blame on anything from Obama, to BLM, to muslim names,

the analogy that PEOPLE kill is apparently lost,,,,unless you mention guns,,,

You say you've never pointed a gun at another human being but in the next breath proclaimed you're more than ready to do so should the need arise. You also admit to owning many guns, how many can you shoot at one time?. Are you planning to stage your own Waco? The problem seems to be the mere availabilty of the weapons. Don't you have to reach a certain age before you're able to walk into a store and purchase these weapons. If they were so innocuous, why the wait?

no I've never aimed a gun at anyone but that doesn't mean I haven't had one close by and used it to diffuse a potentially bad situation...you don't hunt deer with a .22 you don't hunt rabbit with a .308 and you don't shoot clays with a ar-15 hence many guns for many things...go to your local range and get educated on the subject instead of making assumptions

Go to a shooting range to get an education lol. I've been to a weapons experience day once. Over the course of the entire day shooting many different weapons I scores 98% accuracy. I have no interest in owning such weapons. I don't need to issue the threat of death to DEFUSE a situation. Maybe it's you that needs more education?

No, I'm talking about the gunman, I'm surprised the police or security forces didn't shoot to kill him on the spot after what he had just done, they just arrested him, they were very lenient.
