You will have to find a host site to convert your personal pics and give them URLs and then use the BBCodes provided in the Help section before you can upload your pics to the forums.
ok Thank you
Scan your art into electronic medium.
Use an editor to resize the picture to 800x600 px or less.
Save as .jpg, .bmp or .gif
Upload the .jpg image already resized to an online image host.
Submit and then view the image at the host.
Right click and select view image in another window/tab so the only thing showing is the image alone.
Copy the url for that image alone.
The url should end in .jpg, .bmp or .gif.
In a reply box here or in a new thread paste the image url.
Click the beginning of the url string and insert [ img ](without the spaces)
Click the end of the url string and insert [ /img ](without the spaces)
Click submit.
Your picture should show up in your post.
https://i.pinimg.com/564x/ef/1d/a4/ef1da4648856bb8461ffd97e8fa76bb3.jpg
https://i.pinimg.com is the image hosting website: Pinterest
/564x/ef/1d/a4/ is the individual identification coding which determines the person (me) and the folder location of the image I'm posting
ef1da4648856bb8461ffd97e8fa76bb3 is the image code itself, assigned y the host. Some hosts use the image file name, Pinterest does not, it assigns each image a code.
.jpg designates this image as a jpeg lossless image.
In bbcode [ img ](without the spaces) opens the image code for that url.
[ /img ](without the spaces) closes that image code
Putting it all together, allows the forum software to recognize this url string as an image and it allows the image to display within the post/thread.
Do not add, subtract or insert breaks, spaces or digits to the string or it will not work.
You are basically redirecting the browser to that image url.
