The frontman for Soundgarden, Chris Cornell was found dead in his hotel room in Detroit after the band's show of an apparent suicide.

I loved his voice and raw talent. He will be missed.

Just read the the cause of death if it's true. Reminded me of Almost Forgot My Broken Heart video. So sad. Grunge genre started for me with Soundgarden.

Such a shock. He just gave a great performance the night before.

It is hard to understand how people get t that point where they just want out... but they do.

I was never really into the whole grunge thing

back in day..probably cause I was a housewife/homemaker

with a toddler running around

so I was unfamiliar with this guy

oh sure I knew Pearl Jam

anyhow..like a year ago I stumbled upon him

heard him singing maybe it was a song in a movie

his voice was so remarkable I had to go look him up
