The only reason why people try to discuss these as separate like this, is because they are having trouble with their own conception of how each PART of their love life fits together.

The absolute best kind of love connection to have, is one where EVERYTHING you do together is both sex AND love at the same time. Think about it. think about everything you've heard about seduction. Think of every woman who's ever said that she wants to be romanced before the guy dives on her nether regions. Think about every guy you've heard of, who tries to do some big thing to make himself look tough or brave or financially successful for his mate.

When it's all working, the reason it feels like sex when you just hold their hand, is because it actually is.
