Happiness is not a place, it is an emotion, a state of being happy.
Emotions are personal. They exist within us. So, everywhere you go, there you are. If you are happy, everywhere you are is a happy place.

Personally, I don't want to try to be happy all the time, too much work.
I find that contentment is easier and it allows happiness to come and go as warranted. I used to think that if I wasn't always happy something was wrong. Now I realize that is just not true.

Places can be conducive to happiness but not happy places in and of themselves.
