YellowRose,
Well think about this if Adolf Hitler had a statue in your city, would you would want that to be displayed? Some may say Hitler wasn't as bad as people would make him out to be, ask the white hate groups. Well on a smaller scale Rizzo was our Philly Mayoral dictator. Alright to all the people think I'm villianizing him I give you some so-called positives people said he done for everyone.
Key Points ( His Good )
* Stu Bykofsky says in an interview, " Their knowledge of Rizzo is secondhand, coming mostly from liberals talking drums & those who dispies him. Like the write who described the Rizzo statue outside Municiple Services Building as giving fascist salute, as if that remotely possible. Rizzo is not giving the Nazi salute he's actually waving.
*Dispassionate conversation about Frank Rizzo is impossible. Anything positive said about him is denounced as " racist" by those who either weren't alive when he was in power (Black activist Asa Khalif) or didn't live here when he was alive said by City Council Helen Gym.
* Here's the big kicker, it was said what his detractors don't say according to Stu, horrible , racist Rizzo is that as mayor he entrusted his life to his two African American security men. Tony Fulwood & Jimmy Turner. He had black supporters, especially among antidrug & anti antigang activist, such as Novella Williams. These things get overlooked because of his actual problems with segments of the black community , often because of members of his police force.
Hitler wasn't here. We fought against Germany. Why wasn't this all happening during Obama? Why wasn't this all done before now?
