individuals can profile,
people being paid to do a job cannot, especially if any of those they are profiling are some of the 'taxpayers' responsible for their checks,,,
its only 'absurd' if you are not one of those being harassed,,,
the 'if you didnt do anything wrong' argument doesnt hold any more water than it does for illegal wiretapping,,
people expect to be treated with a certain 'respect' and level of decency, treating them 'suspicious' merely for their race or gender does not live up to that standard,,,
there is also a far stretch between stopping anyone who looks mexican and not stopping anyone who looks mexican
the strawmans will keep coming though,,,,
and, as mentioned before, profiling based upon specific information on a specific crime, is different than profiling based upon potential crimes and criminal stereotypes,,,
why would it bother you to be stopped by the police? are you doing something wrong? you dems want anarchy?
