Obama supporters : he is wonderful and he cares and Trump sucks
Trump supporters: he is real and shaking up the establishment so noone gives him credit and Obama sucks,,

100%right on Msharmony, all presidents try to do their best to make sure the governors get the resources their states need to rescue and comfort the people affected. The president can only respond to the governor or mayors requests. If they mess up than the president takes blame. It's damned if you do or damned if you don't for the POTUS I will say trump is on top of this natural disaster . I can't remember anything like this happening during Obamas 8yrs.

Everything was in place,but,as usual,they goofed!

What is sad is that the area that Katrina hit has still not totally recovered..... So something failed there...

In the end I just hope that all of Texas gets rebuilt or cleaned up. But most of the clean up will be due to the People of the USA pitching in when they see others are in need. It is all about People Pulling Together When Others are In Need!

Yes Trump stepped in and declared what was needed and even pulled money out of his own pocket 1 Million at that have never seen another President that did that.. So people can say what they want to but this is one time Trump showed where he stands!

The local authorities called for all sorts of help from the Feds, but the people who Bush put in charge of FEMA at that time, turned out to be more dedicated to avoiding spending money, than to addressing problems.
