I'm not seeing any of these claimed occurrences in any mainstream news, including the known right-leaning sources.

Every time someone starts tossing accusations of "traitor" out repeatedly, I have found that the source of the "news," turns out to be some obvious propaganda website, dedicated to either pure left or pure right wing paranoia.

Greater American drilling just = greater OPEC drilling to drive down prices.
Here in the good ol' USA we have OSHA standards, we have taxes, health insurance, all sorts of costs added into the cost of drilling oil.

Lower the oil price = less incentive to keep drilling.
Except for countries who completely rely on oil export for income and already have the sunk costs in infrastructure, where the incentive becomes to get as much out as quickly as possible to get the good prices now because they're going nowhere but down.

Otherwise between U.S. and OPEC it just = war of attrition. Who has the greater reserves and lowest cost of production.

The U.S. is not the only consumer of OPEC oil, there is always Russia, Japan, China, India, Africa, North Korea.
I'm sure they could use the oil.
And I'm sure absolutely none of those countries would ever consider selling their weapons.
I mean it's nearly impossible to find an AK-47 outside of Russia thanks to U.S. buying OPEC oil and selling them weapons.

Let's say in utopialand where decreased U.S. demand means OPEC all of a sudden has no customers anywhere so can't buy weapons from anyone at all.
You really think that will magically solve the strife in the middle east?
Where they'll just say "well, damn, we were only fighting because we had all these weapons! Now we can't buy them. Let's love each other and just get along!"

Let's say the U.S. becomes completely oil independent.
What incentive is there to continue pricing and exchanging oil in U.S. dollars?

I think the media and his opponents put his name on it. But you are correct.

Much of what happens under a President, even when he has no direct input or is only very indirectly involved, is credited to the President or blamed on him.

I think it is more accurate to say something happened 'under President whomever' most times, because not everything that happens WHILE they are president happens BECAUSE they are President.

i'm not sure where what your thought processes here are, but in any military unit, the leader gets credit for everything, good or bad, because he's in charge... so trump will get credit for things that happen during his presidency... good example-did obarry create obarrycare? no, others did and he put his name on it...
