My conclusion is that you follow your religion yet practice everything it's against reference your profile as per usual! Like a quote before, you all hate everyone, even yourselves!

Where they see fit to behead people in public, chop chop Square as the locals affectionately call it, and then leave the crucified headless body on show in public as a warning to its people, for 3 full days no less.
Where women are married in their absence
Then divorced in their absence.
Where women are not allowed to drive.
Where Kangaroo courts rule supreme, run by ministers of justice who wouldn't know innocence if it smacked them in the face.
Where restaurants have separate rooms or partitions to keep men and women away from each other.
Where banks and other public buildings have one Queue for men, another for women.
Where racism against outsiders is practised day in day out.

Having said that, I've met loads of Saudi people and they are all really cool and friendly, the ones I've met have been anyway. I feel for them.

I got transferred from there not long ago, I almost cried tears of joy when I got the news.
The money is all it has going for it. The gated communities are very nice but full of armed security and the minute you step outside you're filled with a sense of despair.
I wouldn't go back, not for any amount. I only went in the first place as a favour and ended up being there for around 6 months. Still fuming over that favour :)

Edited, I forgot to add, if it wasn't for the causeway across to Bahrain I'd have gone totally nuts.

Saudi Arabia what comes to mind is OPEC, the U.S. military industrial complex, a million princes with too much money living in the U.S. flaunting local laws, Islam, sheets and tablecloth clothing, horses, sand, and guys with mustaches and scimitars doing that rolling tongue scream like Xena warrior princess.
