I used to help a male friend of mine get dates. So I got to see my competition using his profile. It's amazing who answers emails and who doesn't.

You don't have to compete with anyone.

Real men will not go by looks. They will try to see your character. A real man will try to see how beautiful you are on the inside. I've been with what I thought was good looking women. And I've been with not so good looking women. I found over the years that the ones that I gravitate towards the most are the talkative, friendly, warm-hearted type.

The cold-hearted, hateful, loud, pushy domineering type. The "I look good and I know it type. And you better know it too. Been there and done that. Doesn't interest me.

You don't have to compete. Just be you. Let that inner light shine for everyone to see. And they will come.

I found it helpful to look at their profiles to get an idea of what would make my stand out. Doesn’t seem to matter. Very few fall into what I am looking for

It doesn't matter what other women are writing or look like. I believe in being yourself and being honest - or else you will not find what you are truly looking for. If they cannot accept you for being yourself, you are better off and it wasn't meant to be.

I totally agree but writing my profile was tough. It didn’t help that some men were professing a deep abiding love for what I said. Someone said a lot of women said, “Hi”. Then I read the women’s profiles and saw some pretty smart women here.

So I wrote what was authentically me. Either they get it or they don’t. I don’t need the ones that don’t.

Many men don't read Profiles and a woman better not email them without

Her having a Photo. Some men want full length photos before a meet.

Dating sites are the Worst for men being Visual.

I get dozens of views on this site. I delete daily.

That a girl, Lee! I think the right man just hasn't read your profile yet! There's a broad spectrum of people on here. Please follow your intuition, it won't steer you wrong.
