No it is not. That's because there is no such thing as sin because there is such thing as god. Make up your own mind about what you want to do. If it just feels 'wrong', don't do it. If it feels right, relax and enjoy. But don't blame mythical non-existent beings. Take responsibility for your own actions!

in the realm of religion spirituality and agnosticism it's a sin to have sex without marriage and even if a married couple within this realm engage in sex without the specific intent of having children they are committing an abomination

So without Sex how did various Religions get any followers in the first place ? That's a Chicken & Egg question... "which came first ?".

Religion, as too Politics, should be something Personal that you follow rather than force upon other's to be chained to. Sadly, we do not live in a Free Society, and even in the USA you're Socially targeted for your Religious beliefs.

Just treat people the same way that you would like to be treated were you in their situation, that's possibly a good Start.

What's a sin???

A 'sin' is something you're not supposed to do, as defined by one of the many religions you could belong to, if you are that way inclined and like being told what to do by someone else. It's also necessary to believe in myths and fairy tales.

If all that sounds ridiculous, you could just be a normal person and obey (most of) the rules made by the society you live in. I prefer the easy approach!

Yes, it is a Sin.
1Corinthians6:9-10
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do
not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor
homosexuals, nor sodomites,
nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards,
nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

Aside from sinning, you'll be prone to sexual diseases like STD, Gonorrhea, HIV and AIDS. Prevention is better than cure so be self controlled. Just don't think of lustful things and shift your mindset to what is good, noble and righteous..

Some people do not believe until they the consequences of their sinful actions. And many pretend not to believe because they are still into it, trying to justify their actions. Even morality and values education indicates that fornication and also adultery are forms of immorality. Thus, no matter where you look at it, it is still a sin in the eyes of God and in the eyes of man.

I guess that's one way of looking at it! All sounds very complicated to me!

I have no need to inherit anything as my parents are now both dead and I have the inheritance they left me.

As for including gay people in your long list of 'bad' people that is so last century and rude towards those people. Most churches now offer a wedding service for gay couples. What does your belief say about that?

It's a sin according to the bible which is a book of fairy tales. This isn't ancient times any more. Sex in itself is NOT immoral. It's only a sin in the eyes of a religious person who has been brainwashed to believe that crap.

Prevention of STD's is possible in case you didn't know.

It's only a sin in the eyes of man if that man is religious. We only have one life so don't let an imaginary deity stop you from enjoying it.

IN a world alienated from our Creator, sex outside of marriage has become normal. This normalcy started to gain widespread acceptance in the 1960's, a time when the moral fabric of American society began to come apart --what with the Beatles, woman's lib, the Vietnam War, the hippies, marijuana, LSD, the "free love" movement, and homosexuality. We now live in a world where what is good is called bad, and what is bad is called good by the media, the entertainment industry, Hollywood (of course), and academia. Our society is fast becoming another Sodom and Gomorrah --if it hasn't already become that. God's patience and mercy are great --but He will not tolerate perversion forever.
The answer t0 the question presented here, then, is that sex is ONLY proper between a man and a woman who are married. Sex BEFORE marriage is fornication --a gross sin against God; sex by a married person with someone other than that person's spouse is adultery --an even grosser sin against God; and sex between persons of the same sex is homosexuality --a gross aberration. Now, I well know that my comments will not be liked by most people in this ultra-liberal society of New York --and probably not by most people elsewhere as well. But, as Julius Caesar himself said, "People will believe what they want to believe." And the prophet Isaiah exclaimed in Isaiah 5:20, "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil."

Queen Victoria didn't believe sex between two women ever happened, so although her reign produced laws about sex between two men, there were none about sex between two women! rofl
