Lamb???? Oh my god!!! I  lamb!!

I don't have a favourite Sunday roast. I'm Dutch, we don't do Sunday roasts...
But if so, lamb would definitely be my favourite!

Roast beef and Yorkshire puddings.

Got to be a good roasting joint though.

left over from my upbringing and my married days
no matter how busy I get during the week
Sundays I usually try to set aside
as the day when mama cooks like she used to..

I sometimes put a chicken on the rotisserie
mash some potatoes
or pehaps make some biscuits
sometimes it might be a turkey breast
or pork roast or maybe potroast

I make braised lamb chops in apple cider that is just awesome.

As for roasts, I do a few different ones, mainly in a slow cooker but sometimes in the oven (depends on the dinner activities)
I've even done briskets in the grill/smoker.

I do Pork Long Roast
Basically, its a seasoned pork loin with potatoes cut into quarters length-wise. Carrots are cut in half then sliced length-wise and I use pearl onions for shape contrast.

I do a number of different beef cuts, Sirloin Tip being my favorite.

I also do a number of different chicken roasts.

Since I now only cook for myself, I do a lot of cornish hens.

Nearly all my life there has been some type of roast for Sunday dinner. Here's a page at Pinterest that gives recipies for different roasts.
