Good for you Tom, it's been a little over 3 weeks for me. Coming to Colorado and not being able to smoke indoors has been a help.
I didn't really have the withdrawals either, before I left Florida I was smoking around 3 packs a day for those last three months. Sometimes more. The week before I left, I had cut back quite a bit, so I think that helped with the withdrawals as well.
I got the patches, but only used them for a few days, mostly I use the lozenges, but not quite as much now.
The hardest for me was when I was online as well. Have you tried rearranging where your computer is? I found when I was trying to cut back, having my laptop in a different location helped with the association cravings.
Finding something healthy that you enjoy eating can help with the hand to mouth thing.
Sounds like you're doing great, good for you. I believe once you make up your mind to stop, it makes it a lot easier.
Good luck to you.
Happy and proud of you both. They say it can be as hard to stop as heroin. Keep it up and join a rising number of non (cigarette) smokers...
