Didn't Obama call Libya a sh** show 2 years ago?
Yes, he did but he was a Dem and Black so its o.k. blacks can call African nations sh*tholes, whites can't
remember that whole n*g*er topic.. they can say that word.. we can't
In context, he did not call 'African nations' shitholes. He was also not speaking about who should be permitted to emigrate. He was referencing a SPECIFIC place and incident(the fall of Gaddafhi) in an interview where he was asked SPECIFICALLY about it.
The big question asked is if Trump did in fact say those words. Not the same with Obama as it is a recorded fact that he did
Btw, Haiti is a sh*thole. that's is why its residents brave death in flimsy boats just at a chance of getting out of there. And their aids percentage is one of the highest in the world, their crime rate.. astronomical.
A sh*thole.. for sure.. Oh I know.. how dare I say such a terrible ( but true) thing
But read this advisory.. is sure has a " smell" to it
https://travel.gc.ca/destinations/haiti
Basically it says.. don't go there and if you do, whatever you do don't go out after nightfall
well actually, neither were 'recorded', they are both claims from people off the record who were present and claimed to have heard it
but even so, the context of both are different
one was talking about a SITUATION happening with government, and the other seemed to disparage the whole of certain countries, their citizens, and their governments
and Haiti is A Country, not 'countries', as Trump allegedly referenced
and people that live in those countries do not deserve to be disparaged from coming to America, anymore than americans should be disparaged for moving to Norway from such a s**thole country with no universal healthcare, expensive education, citizens who are comfortable letting people starve and freeze unless they are 'deserving' and not to mention a sub par educational system, and gun crime.
See? Its all relative what makes a place a s**hole, and Im sure America would not take kindly to the prime minister describing it that way when talking about immigration , even if, from their perspective, they were just 'telling it like it is'
labeling a whole country makes it's citizens feel personally attacked, I dont care what excuse is used to justify it, especially if that label is used as an excuse to imply those citizens shouldnt have the chance to come to America ...
