Please your comments on this now disgraced Journalist!

Just another can't keep-it-zipped feller, whoda thunk.

None of this is surprising, its just that it is finally coming to the surface, rightfully so.

If you backtracked into the 50's, 60's 70's this type of problem was wide spread and to the point of being accepted as " part of the job". Many of the people now caught up in this are remnants of those era's.

None of that type behavior should be tolerated.. but it was.

Those who acted in this way certainly need to answer for it, but the thing that I find unacceptable is the lack of due process. It is now to the point where a allegation is enough for a person to lose their job and have their reputation ruined.

That is not the way it should be. There are people.. and yes, women who would falsely accuse a man for a variety of reason.

So, in my opinion those proven to have conducted themselves in this manner should lose their jobs and the stain on their reputation is then warranted.

Proven.. being the key word.

I dont know the story and am tired of hearing about all the women who had unwanted passes and such.

Three things for sure.

Innocent until proven guilty.
If physical threat or harm were used, prosecute him.
If he only made some unwanted flirtation, grow up and move on.

I really liked Charlie Rose and is was hard to believe he abused women!! I watch CBS Good morning. It continues without him!

This one shocked me. First thing I thought of was his party views or political affiliations
Have to agree with greeneyes.

I think it's crazy.
Mostly because he's being stripped of honors and degrees he was given for his body of work.

To me it would be kind of like removing Bill Clinton's face and name from the presidential rolls because of Monica Lewinsky.


One thing I am still waiting to see is someone standing up and saying something like "Yes! Yes I took advantage of the system! I slept my way to the top! I got on my knees before the casting couch! I flirted, I shamelessly used my sexuality, I posed for things like Playboy or GQ or FHM or Playgirl. I got as nasty as I could during arbitrary sex scenes in movies. And my career skyrocketed! I did what I had to or thought I had to and I did it with a smile. I specifically sought out those in charge and power and plied my wiles....but it was wrong. I know that now! So I am going to give every penny I made since then, from my perpetuation of that system and mindset, I am giving it all to some beneficial cause!"

I won't hold my breath though.
