I would have to say that much more info is needed before suggesting anything at all. Dementia can happen at ant time in our lives but my experience is with elderly age related dementia. My understanding is that parts of the brain are slowly dying off due to possible circulation problems (narrowing of the veins) or thiamine (vitamin B-1) vitamins B-6 and B-12 deficiencies in their diet

my understanding from both family and a couple of friends family is that at best is delaying tactics. there was a study in england years ago tho that linked smoking to the decline of it's onset thanks to the nicotine

I would look into the benefits of weed..Dang the legalities when one talks about one's quality of life..There are some studies in the field.I know sometimes it appears that I'm an advocate for weed. But it's more the natural homeopathic..organic measures like in eastern meds versus what the pharmacoms can profit from....I would def. look into eastern med... ..jmo

They have new methods out now that can help diagnoses dementia...
and to help with altimeters... I forget a lot these days but I think I know why ... so I weigh the benefit of one to the other ...

but I forgot something last night and was totally omgoodness ...
turned out being thankful ... an not a bad out come ... but just surprised at myself ... for forgetting something like that ... UG ...



but I do understand one could have good days and bad days with it ... and sometime you can't believe that person did or said that ... but was the disease...

I think the medical community has made great strides in delaying the process, slowing it down. But I do not think they really know the source of the problem and without that it can not be solved.

But again great strides have been made.

I have a family who has Bi Polar.. same thing.. they can somewhat control it, but thy can't cure it
