no disagreement there, many things DO fuel the media, especially putting them behind cages and fences at political rallies
and the historians have been left to decide, upon many factors, who the 'best' POTUS is, neither Obama nor Trump will hold the title, but so far Obama is easily in the top 15 on most historian lists

On January 20, 2009, when he was sworn in, the debt was $10.626 trillion. On January 20, 2017, when he left, it was $19.947 trillion
Before Obama took office, President Bush's last budget (FY 2009) created a deficit of $1.16 trillion. That fiscal year began on October 1, 2008, and continued until September 30, 2009. That means most of that deficit occurred after Obama took office in January. But since it wasn't his budget, it's not accurate to attribute it to him.
that means there was 9.321 trillion added, minus the 1.16 from BUSHS FY, leaving 8.16 trillion from Obama, making a 76 percent increase in the already held debt.

Reagan, a historic sweetheart, doubled the debt in his term. People only care about it if it condemns their candidates competition though.
