People always whining about Trump's tax returns... Did they forget that the IRS is part of the government? They can look at anyones tax return anytime they want....do you think the Democrats never looked? How stupid is that? Liberals all over the world are out for Trump, and you think they haven't already looked?

Trump is required by law to submit his tax return to the IRS

the IRS releasing those records for the public to scrutinize
would be against the law without his permission...

those are two very different things...

Trump obeyed the law by filing his return..

the IRS also is obeying the law by keeping his return private
and not releasing it to the public without his consent...

only a bumpkin who just fell off the turnip truck would think,
just because someone happens to be employed by the government
would have the authority to gain access to those returns...

not Schumer, not Pelosi, not Pence or Ryan either, nobody...

only Trump himself can volunteer them or they could be
subpoenaed by the court and that's it...

since all other presidents for the past 40 years have
willingly volunteered their tax returns without whining
about doing so....IMO Trump is hiding something, or he
would release them and shut everyones mouth about it,
including mine...

I can't tell you how many times I've watched/heard/read these senate hearings or grand council interrogations or whatever and someone is grandstanding and asking questions that are simply meant to cause outrage or as part of some political game.

Might as well be:
"Yes or no, do you still enjoy beating your wife?"
"...."
"Your honor, let the record show they're not answering the question, so I must treat them as a hostile witness...I ask again, sir! Yes or no, do you enjoy beating your wife?"
"I can't answer that..."
"Come now! It's a simple question! It makes me wonder what you have to hide and why you are so hostile to these proceedings! We just want the truth! We are public servants and the American people have a right to know! So I'll rephrase! Yes or no, did the Russians offer assistance while you were enjoying beating your wife?!"

"So you did enjoy beating your wife and it was you who asked the Russians for assistance! I move to charge this man wife aggravated assault! How dare you! There is nothing to LOCK HER UP or TRUMP up for, those who were caught with direct evidence however, like those 13 being indicted for interfering with elections wont be so lucky.

Trump isnt going to jail anymore than Hilary will, neither can be proven to have done anything that rises to the level of a crime, unless both are sent to jail for negligence, which both could be argued to have been, but which no politician has gone to jail for before

politicians dont get imprisoned for mere negligence, at worst, they just harm their chances at being elected, or re elected.

I think he did. He said in the past 40 years. Ford assumed office in 1974, which was over 40 years ago.

Been in trouble since the start.

Hopefully they'll be able to figure out a way to charge her with treason..

Ford was never elected President, when he ran for it himself
in 1976 he did release a 10-year summary of his returns but
Carter who released his full return beat him anyway...

so from Nixon in 1973 until the present, 45 years later
Trump is the one and only who has declined to volunteer
any returns whatsoever...take note Nixon, Ford and Trump
ALL Republicans...

Apparently Trump doesn't so he will be the first not to
do so. Maybe he will start a new trend.
