Try homemade cockroach baits. Mix one part powdered (not granular) boric acid (sometimes sold as a roach-killing powder, but often available in pharmacies), one part white flour, one part powdered white sugar. The sugar and flour attracts the roaches, and the boric acid kills them.[2] Sprinkle the powder in the backs of drawers and cabinets, under the refrigerator, under the stove, and so on.

The bombs at Wal-Mart work just as good as an exterminator. But you have to bomb 2 or 3 times. Also buy spray that kills for months to spray on the floor after you mop (everytime). I've had rental property that I've bombed so much it was like Chernobyl

Here's another one I just remembered, mix roughly equal parts icing sugar, flour, and plaster of paris.
When they eat it the plaster goes hard inside them and they stop moving and die. Crunchy!!

Years ago I moved into a place that had roaches. They were hiding in every seam of the house. I tried everything natural. I had parrots and the trays were loaded with them daily!! I bombed the house with Roach bombs. I used Raid roach killer. (Temporarily moved the birds out of the house.) Put on a mask and gloves and soaked my home. It finally got them. Probably me too. But it worked. It is a constant process.
