Lets explore the philosophies of interconnections.
Remember that some of these philosophies are argued and none have widespread validity for all people. They also have little or no scientific validity.
However, within ourselves there exists individual beliefs that are sometimes hard to put into words exactly.
Knowing some of the other better-established beliefs can sometimes allow us to find connections with others of similar beliefs.
So lets look at some such beliefs of inter-connections.
Gaia philosophy (named after Gaia, Greek goddess of the Earth)
is a broadly inclusive term for related concepts that living organisms on a planet will affect the nature of their environment in order to make the environment more suitable for life.
This set of theories holds that all organisms on a life-giving planet regulate the biosphere in such a way as to promote its habitability.
Gaia concept draws a connection between the survivability of a species (hence its evolutionary course) and its usefulness to the survival of other species.
At one end is the undeniable statement that the organisms on the Earth have radically altered its composition.
A stronger position is that the Earth's biosphere effectively acts as if it is a self-organizing system which works in such a way as to keep its systems in some kind of equilibrium that is conducive to life.
Personally, I see the human species over-population as an opposition to Gaia equilibrium. Gaia is out-of-balance because of our over-population.
The TV show Life Without People explored how Gaia would take back its equilibrium if humans were removed from the equation. This can be seen in actual application all over the planet where humans have abandoned civilization.
In theosophy and anthroposophy, the Akashic records are a compendium of all human events, thoughts, words, emotions, and intent ever to have occurred in the past, present, or future. They are believed by theosophists to be encoded in a non-physical plane of existence known as the etheric plane.
The akashic record is like an immense photographic film, registering all the desires and earth experiences of our planet. Those who perceive it will see pictured thereon: The life experiences of every human being since time began, the reactions to experience of the entire animal kingdom, the aggregation of the thought-forms of a karmic nature (based on desire) of every human unit throughout time.
In essence, a Book of Life.
I see this as intuition and instinct. I think empathy could tap into such a repository without us knowing it. Perhaps imagination is conducted via this type of connection. Could desires be a hidden result of an ever-present global akashic record that we shape to a personal application?
Esoteric cosmology is cosmology that is an intrinsic part of an esoteric or occult system of thought. Esoteric cosmology maps out the universe with planes of existence and consciousness according to a specific worldview usually from a doctrine.
The etheric plane represents the fourth [higher] subplane of the physical plane (a hyperplane), the lower three being the states of solid, liquid, and gaseous matter.
In esoteric cosmology, a plane other than the physical plane is conceived as a subtle state of consciousness that transcends the known physical universe.
Which propound the idea of a whole series of subtle planes or worlds or dimensions which, from a center, interpenetrate themselves and the physical planet in which we live, the solar systems, and all the physical structures of the universe. This interpenetration of planes culminates in the universe itself as a physical structured, dynamic and evolutive expression emanated through a series of steadily denser stages, becoming progressively more material and embodied.
The emanation is conceived, according to esoteric teachings, to have originated, at the dawn of the universe's manifestation, in The Supreme Being who sent out—from the unmanifested Absolute beyond comprehension—the dynamic force of creative energy, as sound-vibration ("the Word"), into the abyss of space. Alternatively, it states that this dynamic force is being sent forth, through the ages, framing all things that constitute and inhabit the universe.
What this means to me is that everything in the Universe is interconnected. It has a "Gaia Effect" on a Universe scale.
From a quantum structure to the largest mega structure, from the simplest emotion to the most complex interaction.
"We Are The Universe and the Universe is Us"
Many times we feel alone but if you look at it a certain way, we are never alone. We are connected in many ways we choose to ignore. It may be just as simple as realizing our connections to find one another.
