I've noticed a lot of responses in these forums that indicate that there are a lot of us in the forums that know there is a problem with parenting in society.

This thread is here to generally advise parents on how to teach their children to be part of society.

Its intended as a "Did You Know" type of advice not a way to complain about what's wrong in the world.
Just little snippets of advice from all of us on how to help keep kids from becoming school shooters, dealing with bullies and handling responsiblity. How to teach respect for other people or things like that.

It should be worded in a positive way.
Sometimes, for some, it will be "Duh" but perhaps for someone, it might be an enlightenment and if that helps even one person raise their child right, isn't it worth it?

I'll start us off with something simple.

Children will be children and do childish things because we haven't taught them yet.

Punishment only works if the child understands what they are being punished for.
