I dont know if cherry picking is the right word. I gave three examples of people I actually KNOW PERSONALLY (not heard about or read about) and most people I know can give examples as well.

but the point was just how far the taxpayer logic could go to justify micromanagement to curb abuse or 'save money' even.

I'm all for the Officer getting the full force of the law on him and taken down... As far as I'm concerned any one that would Abuse a child specially rape should have their dingle berries cut off..


But what I have a problem with is you putting all Police Officers in this group.. This is about this one officer not the whole department... and what he did...

Myself I do not know one person that a cop stopped them for nothing and Abused their Powers.. Nor do I know anyone that has had a Officer Abuse the Power they have.

The way I understand they do go through extensive training and mental evaluation...

A sheriff’s deputy in South Texas is accused of sexually assaulting a 4-year-old girl and threatening the child’s mother with deportation if she reported him, authorities said.

Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said Sunday that investigators arrested 47-year-old Jose Nunez on suspicion of super aggravated sexual assault of a child, pending formal charges.

“The details of the case are quite frankly heartbreaking, disturbing, disgusting and infuriating all at the same time,” Salazar said.

The sheriff said the assaults may have been going on for months, possibly years, and that there could be other victims.

Nunez, a 10-year veteran of the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office who worked at the county jail, was being held at the facility Monday on a $75,000 bond, according to the jail. He was arrested while off duty and is on paid leave.

I know someone who had guns drawn on them for entering their own home WITH the dog. I know someone else who was manhandled by plain clothes cops who never identified themself and mistook him for someone else. I know someone else who was pulled over for TALKING (to a passenger) in their car while driving

all this abuse of power on the taxpayer dime is a shame really. Perhaps they should do wellness checks on these officers and just stop in on their jobs randomly to see that they are not abusing their power, and check their social posts to make sure there arent biases that potentially interfere with their oath to protect and serve.

This post is about rape, not murder. If I had to guess which profession has the highest number of rapes, I would guess teacher.

Please tell me which one of those professions that you just named, excluding the military, has the ability to take a life at their own discretion?

there are over 900,000 sworn police officers in the U.S. do you think that 900,000 of people in ANY profession are all good? Do you think that everyone in our military ( sworn to protect country and us) are good?, in the schools.. all good folks?

my son just finished up 9 years in the Marine corp. he was a assigned to the brig ( jail) as a corrections officer. The place was always full... and yes, some were in there for.. rape.
