oh how true, and that is beauty of free markets , the market determines if you made the right decision.

Personally I think the restaurant has a right to refuse service to Mrs.Huckabee if it violates their policy.

Just like Mrs.Huckabee the classy lady that she is didn't make a stink about it.

Now if people avoid that restaurant because of the owner decision so be it, she could have made a stink and said the restaurant was discriminating against her beliefs as its her 1 st amendment right

So Democrats what is the difference between discriminating against a political party vs discriminating against a person for religious beliefs like not baking a cake for same sex wedding nuptials?

All businesses can either make themselves desirable to others or they can be put on the black list of places to go.

I do feel if you open a business you should serve all that walk in the door to buy what ever your selling.. As long as they are respectful regardless what their out look on things that one might not agree with..

But for those places that choose not to, they need to be reminded that they could be in fact cutting their own throats on flourishing within the business market.

But with the way businesses are doing things today like refusing to make a cake for a gay couple.. Ya know even if you don't believe in their lifestyle look at all the business they lost over one cake.. It could have went the other way and they could have a booming business.. They made a call and suffered the consequences...

I know all have the right to serve who they want to all I can say is don't cry when the choice they make bites them in the azz in the end..

To many are ready to Boycott Businesses that refuse service anymore....

I'm as straight as a flag pole, but if I had the bucks, I would open a chain of bakeries that specialize in nothing but big cakes shaped like d^cks.

I'd hire people from that Queer Eye show to run them, and kick back and watch the money roll in.

Okay. Recently Sarah Sanders was kicked out of a restaurant after ordering appetizer with her party because they wanted to uphold certain 'morals'

they did at least give her the respect to talk to her privately and politely ask her to leave (no police were called) and they did not accept any payment for the appetizers

but is this what we come to? Can we not make a distinction of 'relevance' in liking what a person stands for and being willing to simply serve them in a public establishment? This place is getting scarier every day with the exclusion and justifications for it.

If I were a flag maker, I would not CREATE a flag for someone who was going to use it at a flag burning. I would still sell them the available flags displayed for everyone else though. That would go for ANY customer trying to buy it.

If I were a vegan baker, due to pacifist standards, I would not create a vegan cake for someone that was going to serve it at a pig roast. That would go for ANY customer trying to buy it, whether a fellow vegan or a carnivore.

If I am a Christian bakery owner, I would not create a same sex wedding cake for a same sex wedding. That would go for any customer trying to buy it, whether Christian, atheist, straight or gay.

I think venue is often tied to the reputation of the vendors involved where small businesses are concerned especially, so WHERE a creation will be served/associated with, would be important to me.

I feel that is different than just not offering ANY service to a person because of who they are or what they believe in though.
