I left my cat with my Dad because I moved in with a guy and he was allergic. She was the best cat in the world. I was there when she was born. I slept with her almost every night, for 12 years. She disappeared after a little while, even though I tried to visit her often. I think she thought I abandoned her. I still feel guilty and that was around 28 years ago.

I had a Akita / Shepard for 12 years. Pure white. He was my best friend.. went everywhere with me, ate what I ate and even watched the football games with me.

Didn't need any alarm system either, he protected those he loved.

cried like a baby when I had to put him down.
