More than a dozen women were involved in a 'brutal' brawl at the San Francisco Pride Festival after an argument broke out over a singer's performance.

The senseless violence, which was caught on video by a horrified onlooker, reportedly began when one woman asked another if the singer Kehlani was still on stage.

She replied 'very rudely' and called her a 'b****', a witness claimed, kicking off seven minutes of savage fighting during the Sunday event.

Navdeep Thind, a Diablo Valley College student who filmed the rampage, said: 'It got kind of brutal. People were saying it was like some WWE stuff, and it really was.

He added, according to SFGate: 'You saw some heads hitting the cement.'

Thind uploaded the video to Twitter, where it went viral.

He explained how he believed the brawl began: 'I guess one girl asked the other girl if Kehlani was performing. And I guess the other girl said, "Yeah, she is," but I guess she said it very rudely or angrily, and called her a b****.

'That triggered the other girl to say something like, "Did you just call me a b****?" And that started their argument.'

Despite the gruesome violence of the fighting, police said no arrests were made and had no comment to make.

Thind added: 'It was like a rumble. Like things you see in the movies. It was very intense in person.'

Kehlani wrote on Twitter afterwards that the Pride event was 'rude all day', adding: 'Didn't expect any of this. Don't want to cause a situation because I really care about this community but stay away from Pride if your heart isn't in it.

'San Francisco deserved better today. & the cops are out fully strapped.'

Here every year we have the Columbus parade, St. Patrick's parade, Puerto Rican parade, ect, ect.. no problem.. take the family , grandma, the kids. good time for all involved

Now the West Indies parade..that's a different story. ( look it up) shootings, stabbings, beatings.. every single year. People get killed at that parade even with a huge police presence. ( they just do it down the side roads and alleys)

People living on the parade route will not even come out of their houses.

Yep... can't take the ghetto out of some folks.. not even for a few hours.

We have many parades and Marches on many things. No violence as yet. This is a small City and we have great police that will get on it!!!

Our Governor is Republican. But the Democrats want him out this November.

I watched that video and my first reaction was Wow and holy beep.

Actually Soufie, many folks in the LBGT ( forgive I dont know all the letters) have said they are left wing and or they identify with liberal and left wing ideology

So one has to conclude they are left wingers, and when the brawl broke out there most people believed they are violent people as most celebrations are peaceful.

Girl guides and Boy scouts argue over things but there are no brawls, some name calling yes, but never a brawl.

Its a shame because many of the gay pride parades are peaceful for the most part, its lately brawls have broken out all over the world for some reason.

I am sure I would be arrested if I walked down the street wearing what I have seen worn in those parades. But they get a standing ovation...and a " job well done" clap from the mayor.... Lol.. gotta love it.

I watched the twitter video linked in the news article.
I thought it was mostly funny. I think the music helped make it seem more violent and "brutal."
I think if the Benny Hill chase music was playing people would have been laughing. Especially with the chick in the white bikini running around.

It looked like 4 year olds on the playground that don't know how to fight with a lot of slapping at arms length, and hair pulling on wigs and weaves, and holding onto legs.
What punching and kicking there was looked like 4 year olds that saw an action movie and wanted to look like they knew how to fight but were fighting as a means of posturing and didn't want to get too close or really hurt anyone.

...It didn't seem all that "brutal."


They are probably trying to figure out if it was staged or something.
From the video it just looks funny, to me.


It was so intense he couldn't help but hold the camera steady and stick around to keep recording it.


What did san francisco get?
12 girls girly fighting among thousands and thousands of parade or concert goers?


I'd think that comment more apropos towards the guy that shot up the republican baseball practice a year ago.
Or the guy that tackled rand paul.
Or the guy threatening to kill right winger kids, or chop up right wingers with an ax, or calling for bombings like in the 60's, or to make republicans uncomfortable and unwelcome everywhere to push back on them.

I'm watching out for them all...violent left wing snowflakes can be scary...

proud to say I've never been to one...I attend the heterosexual pride parades...but yeah, I'm scared to attend and liberal get together, the snowflakes are just to violent..
