Yes, but it is ********.The Bible is right...
It is not bullsh*t. The Bible canβt be used as an authority for every question we have. Otherwise we would end up in a system where law and religion influence each other. Like in the middle ages. We would go back to witch hunting.
The Middle-East with the Sharia is a perfect example of this.
right. religion IS the prob. if we use logic, reason and empirical fact, we would end up with a much better, more advanced, more compassionate and more helpful to everyone sort of civilization.
Erm... religion doesn't equal care and love, it brings hate, discord, war, and so on. It keeps people away from love.
If religion and its followers could remain open to other ideas and drop the need to convert others and not feel their religion is the only right way, it wouldn't cause so many problems. Then it's just personal choice to follow a religion or not.
So far I've met one person in my entire life who was both religious and completely tolerant and loving of everyone, regardless of their beliefs. One of the most beautiful people I've ever met, but I've only ever met one...
I've met plenty other beautiful open loving & caring people btw but those weren't religious.
Religion means limitations and limitations is the opposite of love.
People have the innate ability of love and care, so without religions there's a helluva lot more than logic, reason and so on.
