I like to get along with gentle women. In family life, the big thing is dominated by men. If your wife is a masculine woman, then she will not be easily dominated, she will fight for power。If the husband and wife do not give in, they will be prone to disputes. Gentle women are easy to control, and there is no difficulty in taking power at home. So for me, masculine women have no attraction.

Some people build muscle faster than others. My muscle can get very defined just doing basic light strength training for health purposes. If men don’t like my muscles showing, they can simply walk on. I’m not going to alter a healthy habit that affects the way I feel and the strength and health of my aging body just to achieve a softer look to attract a man. Especially when he will probably just leave me for a firmer body in 10 years because I let myself get soft in all the wrong places. rofl

I personally find people who factor 'attraction' on one item alone to have quite shallow personalities, but thats just me.


people can be attractive on so many levels for so many reasons

I prefer a masculine man, but some women like feminine (in appearance) men

BUT that is only preference, and I can certainly be attracted to a feminine(in appearance) man if there are OTHER things I find attractive, like character, smile, wit, charm, etc ,,, etc,,,

it is refreshing to discuss honestly without any chorus of "people just like what they like and cant help or explain it"

For my 2 cents, I find a woman with masculine traits to be very appealing. I think it would be very exciting in bed with a woman who could or would be stronger than myself

Each person will have their own opinion on this. For myself, if I love someone, that includes everything about them. If the woman is masculine that is ok, if she is feminine that is ok. I do not love those traits by themselves. I love the person not the traits they have.

Xena, Wonder Woman, Buffy vampire slayer, all very athletic with some masculine traits, and still very feminine; but muscley body builder ladies are still very nice if they don't look like oiled leathery skinny men.

I'd like a cave woman: fit, able, athletic, good hunting partner, not wingeing about broken nails or smudged makeup, at home outdoors, doesn't need a hotel room with spa, can skin / scale and gut the catch and cook it on open fire, can aid in survival situations, can carry her own stuff, doesn't sit down and cry when things go wrong.
These masculine traits can also be carried by beautiful feminine women, not just blocks of muscle with boobs. happy

Why are men so incredibly attracted to masculine women like Sigourney Weaver (Alien) and Carry Anne Moss (Trinity, Matrix)?
So not just the behaviour, being all macho, but also that type of women with masculine square jaw lines, no curves, too skinny which makes their faces appear that masculine I suppose.

What is the appeal? I'd say a woman like that would make a man feel emasculated but I clearly remember how men were drooling over Sigourney Weaver when Alien first came out. I never understood, hence my question.

Also, if you find such women attractive in movies, what if you'd meet a similarly masculine looking and masculine energy woman in real life? Would you then still feel the same way and make attempts to pursue her and date her? Would you want your life partner to be that way?
Or is it just a fascination on the white screen, not something you'd wanna take home to momma?

Just out of curiosity.

A person is attracted to another based upon not necessarily feminine or masculine stereotype features. Attraction is a person's mind feeling a sexually primitive sensation--he/she likes what he/she likes.

Men like who they like. It may make no sense to someone else.
