I am not really sure how long ...I have been fighting for personal rights of choice for people ... seems like a long time ... now they are about to put a judge in that may over turn Roe v wade ... I consider this as a insult to women rights ... they have made it hard enough and closed many plan parenthood & clinics ... and limited access to women to birth control ... they are giving women different birth controls... I guess is less expensive for co. and this is messing with a women's health ... these meds are not the same and giving more side effects then what they where on before ... and women are having more unhealthy symptoms ... I can under stand they don't want women to have the late abortions ... but to take away the early conception is wrong ... this is and should always be a women's choice ... most women are poor and almost hitting the poverty level ... and can barley afford birth control as it is ... and have raised the kind of birth control they where on and now can not afford the cost ...so they have to get this cheaper medication... that is hurting their health ... this is something in politics that I dislike ... people choose to be gay ... and marry ... women should not have to battle what choice they want for their own body's and life ...

theses choices should not be made by people in politics on their own beliefs that are one sided ... that is not right for America ... with all people with differences in religions ... this seems like dictatorship ... not freedom of your own choices in life ...

Hmmm.
The decision that was made in Roe Vs Wade was an absolute devastating blow to The United States of America.

You stated in your post the following...
not freedom of your own choices in life...

What about the babies choice?
Do they not have rights?
Is a baby not a life that is precious?

Isn't the taking of a life without just cause considered murder?

Isn't murder a felony?

I believe the baby would choose to live and not be brutally murdered.

Roe Vs. Wade should absolutely be overturned.
In fact, it shouldn't of existed in the first place.

My opinion

Nobody has the right to tell a woman what she must do with her body. There are cases of rape, incense, where pregnancy is forced upon the woman.

There are other cases where the woman is mentally not mature enough to carry a baby or be a mother. And there are cases when the woman has no business being a mother. ( men too.. bad fathers)

Its their decision to make and they will have to live with that decision.. not us. So we should have no say in it.

How about not killing the baby?
Bring he or she to term.
Put the baby up for adoption if the mother doesn't want the baby.

There are options other then killing the baby.

I think if we take away the right of someone to decide what happens to their body for the purpose of giving life to another persons body, then we will wind up taking each others kidneys.

Some folks need a kidney transplant or they will die. I know one.

It could be like the draft. "You have been selected to donate your body's extra kidney to protect the life of another"

Its actually not a bad idea if you truly are 'pro-life' right?

What about the right of the babys body?

This isn't about women's rights, it is about the rights of the babies being able to live and not be murdered.

Do babies not have rights?

My personal view.

Women have choice with OUR body.

to allow someone to ENTER OUR body is a choice.
to prevent someone entering OUR body is a choice.
to take pills to prevent pregnancy is a choice.
to make the partner wear protection is a choice.

if another LIFE is created, life that is made only PARTY of that woman and PARTLY of another individual, it is no longer JUST ABOUT A WOMAN and her 'choice' IMHO.

That being said. I would want a better system in place to hold both MOTHER and FATHER responsible for the lives they create together. We have too many who make children but are not parents and too many trying to be BOTH parents themselves.

Just because we CAN do something doesn't mean we should. And I believe that with policies and laws, when we are ending or taking something away, there has to be a plan to transition into a replacement, instead of just ending cold turkey, so to speak.

Its a controversial topic for sure.

Ive been torn about this subject, as I don't believe in Abortion, but over the years Ive soften my stance.

I truly believe There are exceptions in my opinion for abortion, mainly if the mothers life is in jeopardy.

Where Im torn is women who are raped, or the mentally challenged who are raped, bringing up an unwanted child could have dire consequences.

I believe the unborn has rights too, the reason why I say that is in 38 states one can be charged with double homicide if they kill a pregnant woman past a certain trimester , eg in the Democratic People's republic of California one would be charged with double homicide but in Hawaii you wouldn't.

Religion plays a part in this, Christianity says the soul starts at conception, and Islam depending on if your sunni or shiite says its either 90 days or 120 or 180 days after conception.

While I don't agree with roe v wade, I understand why it exists, too many backroom clinics endangering lives of the mothers is one.

While many people believe that the woman should not abort and give up the child for adoption, the problem starts with the government agencies incharge of the adoption, when you have bureaucrats who are trained at not seeing the big picture and always make a mess of things.

Look at the mess of the healthcare system today, do you really want the government bureaucrats incharge of adoptions?

Another thing I forgot to add to the abortion debate is I despise women who aborts the fetus as a cheap way of birth control, that to me is a sin.

If you are old enough to have sex you are old enough to be responsible too and that doesn't include abortion in my opinion.

I know it. I was just being sarcastic. We have too many children who do not have provider fathers though, but it was just a tangent to the subject.

Just speaking on abortion, I am against abortion, unless it is the life of the mother at life or death risk..

I don't care what a woman uses as her birth control methods, meds. But don't use abortion as a form of birth control. IMO

Don't think Roe vs wade will be over turned.

Everyone has to answer for their own Personal Choices one day !
