These were written by people who didn't know their *** from there elbows. Didn't know anything about Astrophysics,Astronomy, Newtons Law or even that the earth was round.

An example:

Back in those days, God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah with fire and brimstone.

Today it would read, A large meteorite exploded over the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah leveling most of the area.

Most scriptures have to be read in the context of what they thought were "religious" events because of their naivety about science.

Sir you do not know what you speak of which is clearly evident from your post.

Well...technically (Let There Be Light) God created everything and is in everything, everywhere and science exists so it is God.

I can't, for the life of me, figure out why people seem to think anything can be separate from the Universe while existing within the Universe?

The universe and mankind are Gods' creations .
Those creations exist among and within each other.

Yes science explains Gods world or creations. Since they had no science back then, the scriptures were just babble.

I'm not a biblical scholar but I remember God supposedly created the heavens and the earth in 7 days.
Well we all know this is BS because the "heavens" are more then 14 billion years old and the earth is only 4.6 billion years old. So they were not made within 7 days of each other.

What do you have an 5th grade education?
It is a FACT not theory that so far we have found galaxies 14 billion light years away. What that means genius is that it took light 14 billion years for the light to reach our telescopes.

These galaxies have existed for at least 14 billion years, FACT!
There isn't one scientist who thinks earth is more then 5 billion years old.

Maybe you should actually read a MODERN book once in awhile and learn something about the incredible universe we live in.
