I lost my marbles a long time ago.
I refilled with BBs. More fit into that confined space.
Now I gots lots of BBs and a really nice sling shot.

People seem to have a hard time finding sanity.
They look at home, in stores, on the streets and at work.
All the while its stuck to the heel of their shoe.

Speaking of shoes, I suggest wearing hip-boots or waders during your search.
Insanity can get pretty deep.

People don't see insanity.
I dids an experiment;
I got a writing desk, a fishing pole and went out in a bean field, sat on the desk and cast my line. One guy came out and had a beer with me and asked if I caught anything and I replied "The beans ain't biting."
He shrugged and got on his lawn mower and left.

I also walked into a Bank of America corporate office, rode the elevator up to the loans department and asked for a loan to buy water while wearing a snorkel, flippers and a face mask. They told me to come back yesterday so I spent the next 2 hours riding the elevator asking for water donations.
making me laugh .. perhaps I will wear a bikini and snorkel and try that with my bank . I love it tom laugh laugh

I seem to have lost it. I really don't know when but its seems to have been a very long time. I have searched everywhere for it but it still eludes me.
After all these years of searching for it, I'm not really sure I want to find it.

Any suggestions where to find it?shades

Not sure what to suggest other than keeping your mind open and to maybe try a new way of searching.

No it’s not true...it’s something people say that stay stuck in a rut I for one will not allow my fears to keep me crippled into not imagining or taking steps toward something I want...but that’s just me everybody will do what there going to do...

This is the wrong place to talk or think about sanity. frustrated
A bunch of lonely misfits making up stuff and arguing about irrelevant stuff on computers to other lonely misfits thousands of miles away. what
The blind leading the blind ! shades
And forget about psychologists and psychiatrists, they are even sicker than the worst of us. laugh
Ask a young child who hasn't been to school yet; they are the closest to being sane !

Not meant to be depressive. A wee bit of day dreaming can ease your mind. But losing the grip on reality can be lethal ... unless you want to end up like Ikarus waving

I dunno about that?
I survived the terrible twos four times.
I am now occasionally experiencing them from my grandchildren.
I look at the reactions of my children experiencing their children in terrible twos and those expressions mimic my own when they were little.
Lets face it, if you don't expect it you're gunna think lil kids are brain damaged from the stuff they say and do.
And teenagers, that ole adage that raising a teenager is like nailing jello to a tree is an understatement. I always add, "in a hurricane, drunk" to it and it fits a bit better.

hello searchin ...waving haven't read all the posts so not sure if you have found your sanity yet .. there is an old quote at sanity bring relative .. relative to what or who keeps you caged

There are different definitions of sanity .. there is a legal one .. a medical one .. and the generalised one about repeating things over and over again .. that in itself does not define sanity ... sure if you have sustained damaged to your frontal cerebral lobe you could demonstrate repetitive behaviour , or if you have an obsessive compulsive disorder . To repeat things over and over again is one way way in which we learn and acquire new skills .. so I reject that definition of insanity .,

Perhaps you have just lost your marbles .. you can buy a bag for $5 at Walmart laugh

if you are seriously concerned I can do a mental health assessment on you and I am sure tmommy will let you lie on her couch and can give you an indepth psychological assessment biggrin

Hi Blondeywaving
Now that is a dilemma! If I am crazy enough to fly to NZ to see such a beautiful, sexy woman as you to do a "Mental health assessment" then why the heck would I want my sanity back?slaphead

P.S. The marbles at Walmart do not do the job (Tom is a perfect example of that)but what I would suggest to Tom is instead of BB's (made of steel)try lead pellets from a pellet gun, the lead shields your brain from those annoying voices almost as well as the tin foil hats.glasses

The aliens have probably invaded your brain pan and stolen your sanity.
Get a big roll of tinfoil and fashion a hat out of it. The reflective qualities of tin foil will keep the alien mind beams out. And it's antenna action will retrieve your sanity.

Even better, get a Devo (band) style hat and line that with tin foil.
It will reflect your Orgone energy back down your spine and re-charge your Chi or kundalini, or basal chakra. It won't re-charge your mobile phone though.

But seriously, anyone truly sane in this destroyed world we all created would just want to leave.
You have to be at least a little bit insane just to fit into modern 'society'. drool

That's a good idea, plus the lead will keep Superman from reading my mind
