Very true, the fake ones always send a message pleading to be messaged back via e-mail.

There are fewer women than men on the site if Im not mistaken....its what Ive heard....

Ive been told that it is frowned upon for women of India to be online at all, so the ratio is even smaller. You may be experiencing the result of that, assuming what Ive heard is true.

The ones that are online, are probably swamped with mail.

They can probably pick the best profiles to respond to without having to invest much on their own

All of you who are replying to my response, I don't think you understood what Som said.....Som did not say anything about getting those scam/fake responses!....Som said that he wasn't getting ANY response!....I wasn't referring to the fake profiles that try to scam you out of sending money, or whatever.....I was referring to profiles who only has one beautiful looking picture, has very little to no information completed in their profile, who never shows any activity!......That's why my first comment I stated "It depends on who he's sending his messages to"......I totally understand that some real profiles will not bother to reply and ignore you, but some of these sites are known for creating "inactive" or "cupid" profiles!.....I hope I've explained myself

Maybe you just have to wait a little longer. I have met friends here but it took us years to really trust each other. Its not gonna happen in a snap. Always remember, when its not yet happening, something better is being prepared for you.

Many girls in India are not allowed to be on social media/ dating sites due to domineering/ old fashioned families.

And women in the US are not really interested in connecting with a guy on another continent for dating.

Aren't there sites that cater to people in India?

It's all about patience then... Am suffering with the same disease like my friend said on the top of this trail.... Why don't u keep the fake accounts which ask for mail confirmation in the chat out of this application???? Many numbers I have found which shows direct link to ur application link and why don't u put a reminder to the girls who never reply???? I have huge expectations from the support team that they will get me few genuine account holders.....

Girls in India are still at a conservative stage, they scroll, join such groups but never share their true profiles/ pics..take lot of time to even say YES...

Mingle *should* delete profiles after no activity for six months..

I see a LOT of guys profiles and it says "Las active over a month ago"..
Well then...if they found someone, delete your profile..

If all the "dead", inactive profile were removed..maybe those of us looking for someone could actually FIND someone..
Because when i do my search within like 100 miles of me....dang near every one say last time they were on here was over a month ago..and that is not helpful, at *all*.

I did message a few of those, out of curiosity..and 2 months went by..no reply...and their profile still showes as not having been online recently.
