I think their employers would be best at deciding if they are a good candidate for remaining in our country. Of course other requirements such as law abiding, learn English, self supporting.

I dont know many trends (directions) have been changed so far from what was already happening in 2016. I know many trends (directions) which turned around during the last administration. Like rising unemployment/job loss, failing auto industries, crashing banks and wall street, gender equality, and the failure to bring Osama Bin Laden to justice,,,, to name a few.
