I'm English but I'm on welfare and my rent is paid. I get sort of free healthcare. I went to the doctors because I had pains in near my heart. They told me I was fine. I had to get something from the doctor to apply for housing, it said on it that I'd had a myocardial infraction. I didn't know what that was so I looked it up. Now I'm scared to go back. I'm told that I have an incurable brain diseaes called paranoid schizophrenia, but it doesn't exist or show up on a brain scan. I'm officially homeless because I left my home because I was being given injections in the nighttime. They've cut my money in half so now I have to go and see the Spanish Inquisition. The doctor say to lie if I go for a job and not mention paranoid schizophrenia, but the form says that's breaking the law. I have no children, I can't form a relationship because I can't trust anybody. Should I be shot or deported? I don't know. Politics is so divisive, every1 argues. Corporations are essentially school bullies, pay me your dinner money and I won't punch you. Every1 moans about their taxes going to handouts until they need 1. Then they get as much as they can, because they think its daft not to. Blaming Americas problems on illegals would be laughable if it wasn't so god damn sad.

I see people live beyond their mean to the point of eviction all the time. They care more about the lifestyle than providing security for their kids. They all make excuses for it. I was lucky enough to have a mother that put her family above herself.

i have been taken on a cruise with friends. I have also been treated to a meal by friends and/or family. You never know what someones full story is and you shouldnt assume it because of what you 'see' them eat or where you may see them relaxing...

People do live beyond their means. People also struggle to do better and need help trying to get there. No steak cost enough to make a dent in their reality, nor does a few hours or days of down time to relax on a vacation.


balance is something everyone can use for mental, physical and emotional health. Work and no play is as dangerous as play and no work. Healthy people keep some of both in their lives.

When I was pulling myself up out of poverty, I didn't have time to go on a cruise. I was at work. You chose your happiness over providing a stable environment for your child.

The cost of a steak can make a difference in their reality. For people who arent defrauding the govt, budgeting those foodstamps means having a meal or doing without. Everyone doesn't have a live in man who isn't being reported as having income.

Play time for me was with my kids. After working all day, my kids needed my attention. If other mothers felt that way, you probably wouldn't see so many kids getting in trouble.

? I did the same thing. Purchased a starter house for my son and daughter in law to raise their family in. Stared them off. The key word being.. started... not carried. That is what hard working parents do.. they help their kids get started. Then their kids do the same with theirs.

The majority are not workhorses that live JUST to work. some spend time taking care of themselves and spending time with loved ones and/or family. If that means someone making 10 bucks and hour is gonna miss out on 320 dollars to have down time to spend with those loved ones ... more power to them.


I was on food stamps with no live in man because of a deadbeat who left. I had the occasional steak because it WAS in my budget as long as we had less expensive meals MOST of the time.

As I have given data to show, most people getting CASH are only receiving it temporarily (TANF) it even has temporary in the name.

that is true, for hard working parents with MONEY to 'start them off', other hard working parents are doing well to keep things together to have resources or wealth to 'start off' their kids.

those kids with a network (besides taxpayers) to 'start them off' have a starting advantage. That is a blessing. But not one that is present in most underserved communities or households that end up needing taxpayer assistance.

i have been extremely blessed in my life,and am fairly well off,but in my job,i see people every day who,through no fault of their own have not been blessed like i am,and are suffering through extreme hardships.

they are good people,who are hard workers,but the way that the deck has been stacked against them by the politicians who are supposed to be serving in office to make their lives better,but are instead are just greedy,self serving,bought&paid for shills who are serving their corporate masters,it is IMPOSSIBLE for them to be able to get ahead,like my grandparents did when they immigrated to this country to escape the oppression they were facing in serbia.

so,i have absolutely no problem being grateful to this country which has provided so much to me,and giving back to society for the blessings that i have received from it,before it started turning so oppressive to all but the super wealthy,whether that means serving my country,and community,helping out people individually,or paying just a little bit more in taxes to fund the programs that help people who TRULY need help.

THAT is what being successful is TRULY about...not how much money you can claim that you have,but about being a good,charitable person,whether you have money,or not!


but when the people who DONT NEED HELP are the only ones who are getting it,and it is coming at the expense of the ones who truly do need it,it is an insult to the founding principles of this country,which was created so that people could escape from the oppression they were facing from the elites.
