Zoo - 2015
Rewatching this series and I must say I love it more than I did the first time round.
A shame they didn't renew it after 3 seasons, and if memory serves it didn't really have a proper ending.

What an awesome movie! Great action, and a deeper message underneath which is what I love!
I don't really get why this only has a 4 out of 10 rating, it deserves at least double that. I'm gonna leave my review on IMDB as I often do and rate it 10.

Militia hunting a rescue team, AND a very PO lioness...

And seeing Philip Winchester walking round with a rifle and handgun, man, brings me right back to the golden days of Strike Back, the seasons with him & Sully Stapleton.
The only thing missing is his BrE accent. He's so much sexier with BrE accent

Luke Evans, Charles Dance

Excellent movie! I got it on HD so don't know the rating, but mine would be at least 9.

watched The Departed ... awesome cast awesome story ... 9/10 and Jack Nicholson 's acting ...10/10...

The Darkest Hour - 2011

Movie about aliens, but this time they're energy forms, not tangible aliens.
The few survivors after the first landing and attack have to find a way to fight them effectively.

Movie has 4.9 rating, but I found it quite good. Maybe not an A movie, but that's in the eye of the beholder anyway.
I really liked it, would give it a 7 for sure.

The Fate of the Furious - 2017

I'd not seen it yet, and I enjoyed it a lot!
Jason Statham, Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson make a good team :)
Charlize Theron playing a typical biotch role again. I really don't like her but someone's gotta play it.

Anywho good movie!

I liked it, although it gets a bit Marvel / superpower-ish which I'm not big on.
But it was still a fun movie. Long too which isn't a problem when the movie is a good watch.

The last Boy Scout... a Tony Scott movie ... with Bruce Willis .... gotta watch 9/10

I like most Jason Statham movies!

I watch that again not so long ago. Absolutely great movie!! It has you on the edge of your seat, even when you've seen it before.

I LOVE the "Fallen" series!!


OT -- just finished "Fast & Furious 7", the one they had to adept as Paul Walker had that tragic accident.
A wonderful tribute to Paul, the end made me cry.

La Brea - 2021
Very intriguing series.
It was mentioned by Tom elsewhere and glad for it!

Almost done with season 1, 10 episodes. The good news is that is has been renewed for a 2nd season :)

And it was based on true events that happened in my neck of the woods in Pennsylvania. I give it 4 stars!

watched the "gangster squad"... basically the take down of Micky Cohen, the mob boss of LA in the late '40s.... super action

Started watching the series Hanna yesterday, based on the 2011 movie Hanna.
I like it a lot!
