I love this series!! I wasn't too hopeful when I came across it, but to be honest, it's better than the movie!
Very much worth the watch.
No news yet whether it'll be renewed for a 2nd season, but considering the ratings I'm hopeful!

Chicago Justice
I was done with the whole Chicago XYZ series, but came across this and after watching "The Lincoln Lawyer" series I was up for another law & justice thing.
But 3 episodes in, I gotta say, not certain about it yet. Seems the cases fall apart at the seems, not well investigates prior to court, defense lawyers that come up with arguments that are total bull and no one even objects etc.

I do like the acting of some of the cast, and yup, having another opportunity to watch Philip Winchester is enjoyable, although it'd be better if he'd speak his BrE.

Anywho, it's one season only, so I will likely finish it, unless the bad stuff really get up my nose.

Even though there were some things off about it (previous post) it was good.
It was the only Chicago series I actually liked and kept me hooked. None of the others did that for me.
And then they decide to reduce the nr of Chicago shows and cut the best one. Idiots!

Like Tom said elsewhere a surprisingly good movie.
Quite unusual. It sure as heck kept me at the edge of my seat.
And exactly the ending you can totally live with as a viewer.
My rating would certainly be a 9.

I believe it was Stormy who mentioned it and I decided to check it out. It is absolutely great!

Now I thought there was another series with the same name a few years back, different actor etc? I believe the actor in that also played in Supernatural?

But this, it just works! His charm, the wit and dynamics between actors, his script is amazing too.
All that with a British accent from Lucifer... I'm sold!

Rewatched all of Strike Back, that means the seasons that are worthwhile so 1 through 5.

Then tonight I finally watched in HD (!!!)....

Oh man, I'm so happy to have seen it now! I LOVED it. Just sad there isn't going to be another one anymore now :(

Ahh, ok. I'm watching the series very slowly on Amazon. So won't get to that for a while. Have it on my list now, I'm guessing it will be great even though I'll miss Nate.
